Kington Golf Club is Herefordshire's number 1 golf course and is England's highest 18 hole course.  In 2019 Golf Monthly listed Kington Golf Club as one of its "Hidden Gems" and Golf Empire rates Kington as number 5 in the UK among golf courses of less than 6000 yards.

The course is located on Bradnor Hill, just outside the medieval town of Kington and was first opened for play in 1926.  The designer, Major Cecil Hutchinson, was a central figure in golf course design in the early 20th century.  He collaborated with James Braid in the construction of Gleneagles and Carnoustie.

Kington Golf Club is a "must play" for any discerning golfer.

Set in the heart of the Welsh Marches, this 70 acre garden has stunning views towards the Black Mountains. Created over 120 years by four generations of the Banks family, Hergest Croft has a unique collection of over 5,000 rare plants, trees and shrubs as well as more than 90 'Champion' trees. First established in 1896 and the oldest club in the County, The Herefordshire Golf Club moved to its present location on the Raven's Causeway some 36 years later in 1932.
A special location founded by the legendary James Braid, offering far reaching and stunning outlooks of the Shropshire Hills, the Brecon Beacons and the Malverns.
Described as the 'Gleneagles of the Midlands' the course is a great test for golfers of all abilities and is a challenge right from the 1st tee to the 18th green.

Builth Wells Golf Club was founded in 1923 as a 9 hole course and was extended to 18 holes in 1986.  The course is set in the quiet, picturesque Mid Wales countryside and is highly regarded for it's stunning scenery and smooth, true putting surfaces.

The course is situated 4 miles north west of the city of Hereford, nestled in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. The walking is easy, with gentle rolling fairways around two lakes, playing through mature cider orchards. There is always a background of hills, woods and wildlife with the Welsh mountains in the distance.

At 6224 yards par 71, most of the holes require considerable thought, and with a policy of continual improvement it is seen as a fair but interesting test for players of all abilities. We have excellent practice and teaching facilities, including a dedicated short game area.
